Vehicles placed in storage are subject to additional storage fees and transport charges. - My vehicle is not operable. Can you ship it?

When you bid on and win a vehicle through AutoBidMaster, you're purchasing the vehicle from AutoBidMaster, not Copart. Payment in full by bank wire transfer must be made to AutoBidMaster. - What is preliminary bidding?
The Preliminary Bidding period occurs prior to the scheduled start of the Virtual Sale. Preliminary bids can be submitted starting from when the auction is assigned a sale date up to one hour before the start of the Virtual Sale. The highest bid received during the Preliminary Bidding period determines the starting bid of the Virtual Sale.
- I placed a bid and received the following message: "We're sorry. You have exceeded your bidding limit. Your bid cannot be accepted."
This message means that you've exceeded your current bidding limit. You must increase your security deposit if you'd like to continue bidding. Your security deposit should be a minimum of $400 or 10% of your desired maximum bid. You can increase your bidding limit at any time in My Account.
- I just received an e-mail stating that I lost the bid, but my bid amount was the same as the winning amount. Why did I lose?
If you submitted your bid during the Preliminary Bidding period, it's likely that someone submitted a maximum bid equal to yours during the Virtual Sale. In the event that two identical high bids are received, it is Copart's policy to award the sale to the Virtual Sale bidder.
To avoid a tie, Copart's Bid4U system offers an option named Bid Increment. Using the Bid Increment option, you can place your preliminary bid and in the event of a tie, Bid4U will bid one more additional increment over your maximum bid in order to break the tie. If a bidder with a higher maximum bid outbids you, you'll receive an e-mail. - What does the Bid Increment option do?

- What is Bid4U?
Bid4U is Copart's automated bidding system. Enter the maximum price you're willing to pay for the vehicle during Preliminary Bidding or the Virtual Sale and Copart's "Bid4U" (Bid for You) feature will incrementally bid on the vehicle on your behalf up to your maximum bid. BID4U will only bid one increment over the current bid to maintain your position as the highest bidder. This allows you to purchase a vehicle below your maximum bid if bidding does not meet or exceed your maximum bid. If you're outbid you'll receive an email notification and are provided with the opportunity to increase your maximum bid.
- What is a Virtual Sale?
A Virtual Sale is a live auction. Copart's VB2 software allows you to participate in live auctions taking place at their auction yards throughout the United States and Canada from the comfort of your home or office. (You can also click on the blue "Virtual Sale" link at the top of any page to see a list of current sales by auction yard location.)The Virtual Sale window displays images of the vehicle currently up for auction along with the current high bid from the Preliminary Bidding period and the current live bids. You can place your live bids by clicking on the button in the bid the corresponds to your new high bid. The bid box is located in the bottom right corner of the Virtual Sale window in the yellow "Sellin' All the Way" box.
- What does a sales status of Pure Sale/On Minimum/On Approval mean?
The Sales Status listed in the Bid Information box indicates the type of auction:
In a Pure Sale auction, the seller has not set a minimum bid and or reserve price. This lot will be awarded to the highest bidder at the close of bidding during the Virtual Sale. Highest bid wins!
In an auction listed as On Approval the seller has reserved the right to approve the final high bid achieved during the Virtual Sale. The seller has until 5:00 pm PST one business day after the sale to approve the bid. The high bidder is obligated to purchase the vehicle if their bid is approved by the seller within the approval period.
If the auction is listed as On Minimum Bid the seller has placed a reserve price on the lot. If the minimum bid is not met during the Virtual Sale, the seller has until 5:00 pm PST one business day after the sale to accept the current high bid or decline the sale. - What does "Future Sale" or "Expected Sale Date" mean?
